Mazy Pittie Co. was born out of a desire to help change the negative stereotypes that surround bully breeds, particularly pit bull-type dogs. I started Mazy Pittie Co. shortly after fostering and then adopting my dog Mazy!I had no clue how misunderstood pit bull-type dogs were until I started volunteering at my local animal shelter. It blew me away how a dog can be judged by its breed. I hope one day people see pitties the way I see them. We hope our bandanas and bows help showcase pitties and rescue dogs in a positive light!
Mazy was in an overcapacity kill shelter for 45 days. As a volunteer for the shelter I couldn't leave her there any longer and decided to foster her. She quickly stole my heart. After 45 days of fostering her I adopted her. She came in my life when I needed her the most.
We are huge advocates for rescue dogs! We have fostered 8 puppies so far. Although we miss them so much when they leave, they are family and will remain so, always, in our hearts.
